We are delighted to be a long-standing partner of the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences, with which we have had many positive experiences through our KIA students. KIA stands for 'cooperative study with integrated (vocational) training'. We would now like to take this opportunity to introduce Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences in more detail: Established in 1992 in the border triangle of Germany, Poland and the Czech Republic, Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences is characterised as an institution of change and transformation. Acting as a bridge between Central and Eastern Europe, it is a leading university for energy and transformation research in business, work, and society. Located in the heart of Europe, the university provides students with the ideal conditions to develop forward-looking solutions: excellent support, modern equipment, exciting projects and internships, international exchange opportunities, and affordable rents. The university is constantly evolving and involves students and professors in shaping the 'university of the future', offering unique opportunities for companies and universities to train young specialists and managers through the dual KIA programme. This programme enables students to obtain two qualifications - a skilled worker certification and a university degree - offering excellent prospects for a successful professional career.

We hold trainee days several times a year. What are they? We bring our trainees together to deliver training on specific topics or organise joint workshops.
We also regularly participate in sporting events, such as the REWE Team Challenge in Dresden, and organise our own bowling, table tennis and badminton tournaments. We also celebrate with barbecues, Christmas parties and Oktoberfest.
