Having trouble deciding between studying and training? With the KIA study model, you get the best of both worlds, so you don't have to choose. KIA stands for cooperative study with integrated vocational training. It includes a recognized university degree, as well as vocational training that leads to an IHK/HWK qualification.
You will complete the academic portion of your training at Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences, and we will oversee the practical portion as your training company. You will benefit from intensive, practical training, and thanks to the training allowance, you will be able to finance your studies without taking on a part-time job. If you choose the "Automation and Mechatronics" specialization, you will help shape the future of the industrial revolution and learn about mechatronic and automated systems. With the "Electrical Energy Systems" specialization, you will plan energy and building technology and install systems for the energy supply and infrastructure of buildings.
